Kolkata Metro Orange Line Opens Howrah Maidan Underground Station
Project: Kolkata Metro Orange Line
Kolkata Metro inaugurated the Howrah Maidan underground station on the Orange Line (East-West Metro), becoming the first metro station under the Hooghly river. Service now runs from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V.
