India's urban transit — tracked, sourced, stated honestly

A source-backed reference for India's city systems and infrastructure projects.

IndianTransit connects an atlas of cities, systems, lines, and stations with tracked projects, dated updates, and the source notes behind them. Atlas pages disclose coverage depth, while project and update pages preserve source gaps instead of filling them in.

Public scope is broader than the deeply reviewed pilot. "Complete" is never claimed; unknown values stay unknown, not zero.

City & system exploration

Network scale, stated honestly.

Live city and system pages can include line and station listings; detail routes appear only where publication gates allow them. Review depth varies — this is an atlas, not nationwide completeness.

How we keep it honest

What we promise on every page.

  • Starts with the documents

Public pages keep available sources visible. Where support is incomplete, the gap remains visible rather than being upgraded to certainty.

  • Unknown means unknown

When something isn't known, we say so out loud. We don't paper over gaps, guess, or turn a missing value into zero.

  • Coverage grows carefully

New detail appears through existing publication checks. A listed city or line never implies that every underlying fact has equal review depth.
