Privacy notice

IndianTransit does not currently run user accounts, comments, or an on-site newsletter signup form. After this change, newsletter email addresses are not sent through an IndianTransit API route.

Like most websites, the site is hosted on Vercel. Standard web request information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timing data may be processed by the hosting platform to serve the site and keep it working.

IndianTransit also includes Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. The site does not currently publish a separate user dashboard for that data.

The newsletter signup link on IndianTransit sends you to Beehiiv's hosted signup page. Signup is hosted and processed by Beehiiv, and your email address is not submitted through an IndianTransit website form or API.

Beehiiv provides the hosted signup and delivery infrastructure for the newsletter. IndianTransit operates the newsletter publication and may access subscriber email addresses and subscription information within Beehiiv to manage delivery and newsletter operations.

When you continue to Beehiiv, Beehiiv may receive your email address along with normal request metadata such as IP address, browser information, and the page that sent you there. IndianTransit may later view subscriber information inside Beehiiv to manage the publication.

Beehiiv's own privacy policy and terms apply to information you enter on their hosted signup page.

You can unsubscribe through the unsubscribe link included in Beehiiv newsletter emails.

IndianTransit does not currently publish a dedicated privacy contact channel on this site. This notice therefore does not promise a deletion or retention workflow that is not yet in place.

For newsletter subscription changes, use Beehiiv's unsubscribe tools in the emails you receive from them.
