Bengaluru Metro Blue Line (ORR-Airport Metro)
The Blue Line is a new metro corridor connecting Central Silk Board Junction to Kempegowda International Airport via K.R. Puram and Hebbal Junction, implemented in two phases (2A and 2B) along Outer Ring Road and NH 44. The Union Cabinet approved Phase 2A and Phase 2B on 20 April 2021 at a combined cost of Rs. 14,788.101 crore. A $500 million ADB loan was signed on 23 August 2021. BMRCL confirms both phases are under implementation in the Phase 3 DPR executive summary.
